Dear Diary,
I had possibly one of my wittiest moments in Spanish class today. My teacher was explaining something nitpicky about the Spanish language, and I was like, "Marisela, why do they do that?" and she got all huffy and was like, "Just because, okay?! How come in English you have all of these useless letters and sounds that aren't consistent?" and then I responded, "because we want to be thorough".
