Dear Diary,
Last night we went to the roller disco. Best twelve pounds I ever spent. Very small london rink, and crowded. But you had to be 18 and over and we got to dress up in killer outfits. We interpreted "Disco" to mean florescent tights and sparkly eyeliner. There were hardly any guys there, of course. I can't imagine what group of self respecting british guys would be like, "so, we going to roller disco tonight?" The girl skates were really funny, they were white plastic with pink accents and wheels that were supposed to light up when you skate, but not everybody's could. The night didn't end well for some of us, there were injuries. But it's things like roller disco that make me want to live in big cities only. What kind of small town could support such a niche venue for over 18s that want to wear sparkly eyeliner and skate around in circles in the middle of the night? It's so sad to think there are places where this doesn't exist.
Our program ends on thursday. I. Am. Sad. But we are attempting to make the most of our last few days.
Love,
Diana
