Dear Diary,
another "color wars" today at camp. this involved yours truly bringing team indigo to victory with a killer cannon ball into puget sound. we also ate lunch with indigo ribbons tying our hands together. builds unity, you know? the kids complained but of course they loved every second of it. they do that a lot. pretend like things suck but they secretly think that it's awesome. like waking up on the overnights in a huge puddle from a midnight rainstorm. or jumping into the frigid puget sound for swim checks.
I finished off the day with a romantic rowboat jaunt way past the docks where the kids are allowed to go. it was nice. i like doing things that the kids aren't allowed to do. i like where i am. i like what i'm doing.
