Dear Diary,
Yesterday I spent the night at Flipper's house after a wild night on the town. We ended up taking the bus home at like 3 in the morning, going a stop too far and walking like a mile back to her house. I am such a cheapskate when it comes to cabs when there is a bus available, especially a double decker one. It was a safe neighborhood, we didn't run in to anyone else in our whole walk. They have a very pregnant cat right now. I am so excited for the kittens to be born. I have instructed them to call me as soon as she goes into labor. I want to be there for the miracle of life. Why are kittens so irresistible? I watched some videos on youtube of kittens being born to prepare myself. They were slimy and made tiny noises. It's funny, when i was at the house we spent a lot of time staring at the cat like, "so? are you going to do it now?" She certainly won't be able to tell us when she is going into labor.
I've heard that if you eat too many carrots you turn orange. My friend's mom got a juicer and made so much carrot juice that she turned orange. As an experiment Julia and I have been eating tons of carrots, in hopes that it makes us look tan. Is this not the best idea you've ever heard? The super-safe tan. I'll probably just end up peeing orange or something.
Love,
Diana

Dear Diary,
I have not been blogging for awhile. It is because I have been doing important things like go to Paris and hang out with my sister and mom. My routine was so messed up I just forgot about it. But my blog is always in the back of my mind, and many things have happened since I've last posted that I wanted to blog about.
I had the pleasure of taking my mom and my sister to several pubs. After the pub was closing one night we needed a snack so we went to Tesco Express which happens to be the most wonderful 24 mini mart in the whole world. We picked out some snacks, but our best purchase was a tiny bottle of "cat milk" specially formulated for your cat's sensitive stomach. Mama bear also bought a one of my favorite candy bars here, the "yorkie" bar. On the package it says, "YORKIE. NOT FOR GIRLS." These are my favorite parts of traveling. I'll skip the museums, but will probably spend a bit too long at the grocery store trying to make my own cultural discoveries. (you can buy eggs in different sizes in the same box here. they are cheaper that way. You can also buy pancakes in a package for really cheap. there are many choices of mini pitas. amazing!)
I have to go to bed now. I have my internship tomorrow. I haven't been in almost two weeks, I hope I haven't forgotten how to answer the phone and be charming. and make spreadsheets. spreadsheets are important. should have been more diligent in statistics class.
Love,
Diana
